Sally Tobin

Chief Executive Officer

Sally is the strategic architect behind the studio, as the founder and lead investor overseeing venture creation and product vision.

Sally has run studio models for over 20 years, including several marketing agencies and technology companies; managing teams of 1,000+ people across ANZ.

A serial founder with 3 successful exits, her passion lies in building, leading, and commercialising companies that are underpinned by proprietary technology.

Gary Head

Chief Product Officer

Gary is the creative and product design team lead for the studio, taking the the product vision and turning it into blueprints for a working MVP.

An award-winning marketing strategist and product leader, he brings 15+ years of deep experience across brand strategy, commerce marketing and product design.

Gary recently launched his own AI platform, Cart Index - a creative retail media and commerce marketing measurement tool for shopper marketers.

AiPX Cadetship/

Get paid to create and launch real products to market, before you graduate.

The AiPX Cadetship is a paid, part-time intern program for students in their final years of study who want hands-on experience inside a technology venture studio. You’ll work 3 days a week alongside senior engineers, founders and marketers, contributing to real products as they’re built and launched - with flexibility around exam periods.

Roles open for H1 2026

2x Student Software Engineers:

Help architect, build and ship AI-native products, working on real features, systems and MVPs – using the latest AI models to reshape workflows and reduce techstack bloat.

2 x Student Social Content Producers:

Create social-first content that tells the story of the products, platforms and people building them - from short form video to written and visual content across channels.
